Isn't it funny how we can't wait for the New Year to begin, so we can validate a fresh start or a clean slate? I admit, I am guilty of feeling that way. For whatever reason it might be, I am thankful, because I am sitting here doing something I love to do which is writing and sharing, and I am not so sure I would have been doing this last year (or making the time to). I did not necessarily make a bunch of resolutions, however I did take time out to reflect upon the areas in my life that I want change and growth. It has become my goal to do my best to live my best life, and share my experiences with you along the way. This blog is going to be like my very own, personal scrapbook, which just so happens to be documented on my laptop. You never know what you might find here.... from scrapbook ideas, to a new recipe, from craziness and chaos to complete peace and serenity. Welcome to Sweet Pixie Stix, my name is Kristin and I will be your hostess around here. I have three beautiful children and a wonderful husband who mean the world to me. My faith is a gift and I do not take anything for granted. I try to live the best I can in each moment and give all that I can give. I do believe that no matter how old I get, I am a student and I am willing to learn or try anything. Funny thing is, my own children teach me something new almost exactly when I think I may have it all figured out. (btw...those are the best lessons to learn) It has taken me a long time in my life, 40 years to be exact, to be comfortable with who I am today. I do not claim that life is perfect, nor are my children or marriage, but it is how we come together as a family and in our community that matters. I would like to share the good days and bad days, the best and worst days, struggles and triumphs we come across and everything else in between. Make yourself at home, I hope you find this to be a comforting place to be.
